Install Nextcloud from the ALL OS App Store for files, documents, calendars and contacts on ALL1. Follow the app's setup prompts and connect an external USB drive if you need more storage. Use ALL CONNECT or Home VPN for remote access, and keep an independent off-site backup.

Questions people ask
Can I replace Google Drive or Google Photos with my own server?+
For many file and photo workflows, yes. ALL1 can run Nextcloud for files and documents and Immich for photo backup. These are alternatives, not exact replacements for every Google feature; check app availability and plan your migration and an independent backup.
Can I access my files and photos when I am away from home?+
ALL CONNECT and Home VPN provide remote access while ALL1 is powered on and connected to the internet. A home server does not provide an automatic off-site copy; keep a separate backup of important files and photos.
Which app handles my files?+
Nextcloud, installed from the ALL OS App Store. It covers files, calendars and contacts, with apps for phones and computers. Check the App Store for the current version before you migrate.
How do I add storage?+
Connect an external USB drive. ALL OS manages it alongside the internal NVMe SSD.
What happens if my device breaks?+
Files on a broken device can be lost, as with any single disk. Keep a second copy on another drive or an off-site backup.
Can network apps see my files?+
No. Network apps run in isolated sandboxes with only the resources they were granted, and application data is encrypted on disk.
Is there a subscription?+
No. ALL1 is a one-time $599 purchase. Home VPN, 5 Premium VPN seats, ad blocking and IoT integration are included for 5 years, and ALL CONNECT remote access is currently included.
